About the Research Team
The Research Design & Evaluation (RD&E) team forms the backbone of Jacaranda Health's evidence-based approach. This group delivers essential research to guide product design, implementation, scaling, and expansion. The team values technical skill and a commitment to using advanced technology to address maternal health challenges.
Within RD&E, the Research Projects department generates the evidence needed for informed decisions. Their research covers implementation, impact, growth, and sustainability, supporting the delivery of high-quality products to clients.
Role Overview: Product Research Manager
Jacaranda Health is hiring a Product Research Manager based in Nairobi. This mid- to senior-level role calls for significant experience in user experience research, especially with mixed-methods evaluation. The position focuses on generating actionable insights from large-scale product data and translating those findings into decisions for both programs and product design.
The Product Research Manager will lead evaluation efforts throughout the lifecycle of interventions, from early-stage testing to scaling and ensuring long-term sustainability and impact. The role involves close collaboration with Product, Data & Analytics, Tech, and Programs teams. A key part of the job is to investigate how, why, and for whom interventions work, always considering context, equity, and measurable impact.
