Soho House is looking for a Public Area Attendant to join the team at Soho Beach House Miami, located at 4385 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33140. This role focuses on keeping all public spaces, lobby, restrooms, front desk, and more, clean, orderly, and welcoming. Public Area Attendants play a visible part in upholding the high standards of hospitality and presentation that members and guests expect at Soho Beach House. A friendly, approachable attitude and a commitment to service are essential.
Main Responsibilities
- Walk through Club, Rooms, Cowshed (Spa), and food and beverage spaces to check cleanliness and maintenance.
- Clean and maintain assigned areas: dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom upkeep.
- Support the housekeeping team with room preparations, focusing on detailed cleaning tasks.
- Follow health and safety regulations to keep spaces safe for members and guests.
- Document daily inspections and maintenance work.
- Handle heavy cleaning jobs and special projects, including minor repairs and organizing storage.
- Alert management to repair needs or deficiencies as soon as they are noticed.
- Manage refuse disposal and restock supplies as needed.
- Work well both as part of a team and independently, staying reliable and motivated.
- Adhere to all company health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Take on additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, maintenance, or housekeeping roles.
- Comfortable operating heavy cleaning equipment and machinery.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Can follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and contributes positively to team morale.
- Flexible availability for scheduling needs.
