Role Overview: Senior Channel Marketing Manager for Independent Agents
Based in Chicago, IL or Denver, CO, this role leads the growth of Honeycomb's independent agent channel. The Senior Channel Marketing Manager owns the full process of agent channel expansion, from strategy to execution. Key metrics include broker activation rates, Gross Written Premium (GWP) per agency, and submission volumes. The focus is on building and running programs that drive agent engagement and performance.
Main Responsibilities

Lifecycle Program Design & Management
- Design and manage the broker lifecycle: onboarding, reactivation, cross-selling and upselling to active agents, and re-engagement of lapsed partners.
- Develop and maintain lifecycle programs that support agent success and drive business growth.
- Establish marketing strategies for recruiting new agents, reactivating dormant relationships, cross-selling to active producers, and winning back lapsed partners.
- Collaborate closely with the Demand & Digital Lead to execute strategies within Honeycomb’s systems.
- Lead content creation, messaging, and performance measurement for agent channel marketing.
What We’re Looking For
- Deep understanding of the commercial insurance distribution landscape, especially how independent agents operate.
- Insight into what builds agent trust in a new carrier and the motivations behind agent business decisions.
- Experience designing and managing programs across the agent lifecycle, from onboarding to reactivation and retention.
- Ability to drive measurable outcomes and adapt strategies based on performance metrics.
