Role overview
The Core Branding Team at Teads builds and maintains web products that serve thousands of users, including major publishers, advertisers, and agencies. This work involves handling a high-traffic platform that reaches 2.2 billion users every month and processes 100 billion events daily. The team focuses on delivering low-latency, high-availability services, with targets such as 2 million requests per second and response times under 150 milliseconds.
Main engineering challenges
- Design and build efficient, user-friendly web products for a diverse set of users.
- Work across a broad technology stack, with a strong emphasis on Scala and TypeScript, to improve performance, scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.
- Manage large-scale datasets that require millisecond access times to support a near real-time auction resolution algorithm, handling up to 18 million predictions per second.
- Collaborate with Product teams and adapt Cloud infrastructure to deliver new features and product improvements.
