Role Overview
As the Stock Transfer & Archiving Team Leader, you will take full responsibility for the efficient and accurate transfer, archiving, and rationalization of commercial merchandise, heritage stock, car parts, assemblies, and equipment at the Brooklands facility. This operational role requires significant physical handling of stock, as well as strategic planning, prioritization, and meticulous attention to system accuracy and process development. You will directly oversee the Stock Transfer & Archiving Coordinator and ensure Brooklands is prepared for a smooth transition into steady-state operations. Success in this position hinges on your ability to manage stakeholders effectively and utilize sound operational judgment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operational movements of commercial and heritage stock, ensuring effective sequencing of tasks.
Coordinate inbound stock volumes with key stakeholders to guarantee safe and efficient receipt and storage.
Conduct stock checks and confirm quantities for all items entering Brooklands, ensuring all items are logged, labeled, and completely traceable.
Serve as the primary on-site point of accountability for all delivery progress, risks, and issues during the move-in phase.
Receive, unload, check, label, and store stock meticulously, ensuring traceability for all movements.
Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and effective move-in processes.
Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
Manage, train, and support the Stock Transfer & Archiving Coordinator throughout the move-in phase.
