Role Overview: Team Leader, Account Development (APAC) – Bangalore
This M2-level leadership position will shape Wrike’s growth in India and the broader APAC region. The Team Leader, Account Development (APAC), will head a new team in Bangalore, focusing on the VSB and SMB market segments. Reporting to the Sales Director in Australia, this player-coach role combines hands-on sales with direct team management.
This leader will maintain a personal sales quota while guiding and mentoring a group of individual contributors. The role also connects the India hub with Wrike’s global teams to execute the APAC strategy effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Quota Excellence (Player-Coach): Achieve and exceed both individual and team sales quotas for APAC VSB/SMB accounts.
- Team Leadership & Growth: Manage daily operations for the India-based Account Development Management (ADM) team, focusing on performance and project delivery.
- AI Champion: Use AI tools (including Wrike AI and Gemini) to drive strategic sales planning and improve forecasting. Analyze team calls with AI to provide coaching and support the team’s adoption of AI-driven sales practices.
- Global Collaboration: Work with ADM leaders in Europe to align global best practices with APAC regional strategies.
- Coaching & Development: Mentor team members and implement Professional Development Plans (PDPs) to help individuals reach their goals.
- Process Optimization: Refine team processes and introduce new methods to improve performance.
