The College/Business Mentorship Researcher role focuses on investigating mentorship frameworks within college environments that align with effective business practices. The selected researcher will analyze successful mentoring strategies and recognize common pitfalls in mentorship. Additionally, this position involves evaluating the development of mentorship initiatives and analyzing various business mentoring methodologies to enhance the organization's mentorship program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive research on existing college mentorship programs in the Chicago area to assess their effectiveness and areas for improvement.

  • Perform an academic analysis of various business mentoring models to identify which are most successful based on existing studies.

  • Compile research findings and establish a structured framework for mentorship programs.

  • Identify and recruit potential mentors to populate the organization’s mentoring database.
  • Create a curriculum for the business mentorship initiative.
  • Participate in professional development meetings, workshops, and stay updated with relevant publications to enhance expertise in the field.
