About the job
About Us:
At Zealthy, we are on a mission to democratize high-quality healthcare, ensuring access for everyone, regardless of their location. We are in the process of creating the world’s largest and most trusted virtual healthcare platform, revolutionizing the delivery of care to make healthcare accessible to all.
Founded by a visionary healthcare entrepreneur with a successful track record, including scaling a previous venture to a valuation of $5 billion, Zealthy is uniquely positioned for sustainable growth as we ambitiously pursue our vision. Our steadfast dedication to quality and accessibility is at the heart of everything we do.
Our team is committed to making a difference for our patients. While our office culture operates Monday to Friday, often extending beyond standard hours, the true satisfaction comes from the significant impact we create together. Every team member plays a vital role in building something transformative. As a full-time member of our team, you won't just help shape the future of healthcare; you'll also benefit from our success through equity ownership, reflecting our belief that every contributor should be a literal and figurative owner of our mission.
If you are not ready to fully commit to your role and contribute to the goal of building the largest and highest quality telemedicine company with in-person work four days a week, we encourage you to reconsider your application.
Join us in redefining the future of healthcare.
The Role:
We are actively seeking a dedicated Mobile Engineer specializing in React Native. This is a full-time, on-site position based in New York, NY. If you are exploring remote or hybrid options, this role may not be the right fit for you.
Your Responsibilities:
- As a React Native Software Engineer at Zealthy, you will join a dynamic team of five full-time engineers and work closely with the Founder/CEO and the Senior Medical Director.
- You will be tasked with rapidly developing our mobile application for both iOS and Android, using our mobile-friendly web app and initial design elements as a foundation.
- Your role will require in-person collaboration at our New York office, participating in daily standups, weekly sprint meetings (or a flexible Kanban process), and holding yourself accountable to a rigorous product development timeline.
- Being part of an early-stage startup means you may need to wear multiple hats, building the initial version of the mobile application with limited support from other engineers.
- As we grow, there will be opportunities for you to advance into a leadership role based on your performance and aspirations, fostering an ongoing dialogue with current leaders.
