Position Overview
The Project Controls Scheduling Specialist plays a pivotal role in providing sophisticated scheduling and project management support throughout all stages of project development, including planning, execution, and completion. This position entails the creation and upkeep of project timelines, aiding in forecasting activities, conducting schedule assessments, and generating analytical reports to facilitate informed project decisions.
Key responsibilities include ownership of project schedules, executing critical path analyses, tracking earned value performance, and collaborating with project stakeholders to ensure alignment with overarching program objectives. A robust understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, as well as the integration of cost and schedule within project control systems, is imperative for success in this role.
