Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Receiver/Loader to efficiently manage the unloading and loading of incoming and outgoing trailers. This role involves adhering to our standard operating procedures (SOP), which include sorting, palletizing, and relocating products as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload and load products in compliance with established procedures.
- Utilize electric Power Jack to transport pallets and/or products as necessary.
- Maintain a positive and supportive demeanor towards the company, customers, and coworkers.
- Achieve minimum standards for accuracy and meet delivery deadlines.
- Ensure a safe, organized, and clean workspace by following SanMar's safety protocols.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Adhere to all company policies and standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and effectively identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels, and SKU information.
- Proficient basic math skills for counting and measuring quantities.
- Proven ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities or responsibilities.
- Capable of working efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment while meeting deadlines.
- Effective in both independent and team settings.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and comprehension of both verbal and written instructions.
- Availability to work essential days or overtime as needed.
- May be required to achieve and maintain SanMar’s Lift Operator Certification every three years.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $17.00 - $21.25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Paid Time Off: Accrued weekly based on hours worked, up to 112 hours per year to start, along with 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family leave.
