We are looking for a motivated and technically savvy Sales Development Representative to become a key member of our team in Santa Clara, CA. As the face of Dexmate within the physical AI community, you will forge connections with developers, researchers, and pioneering companies in robotics. This role goes beyond a typical SDR desk job; you will engage extensively at conferences, collaborate in university labs, and meet prospects in person to promote our platform and cultivate a robust sales pipeline.
Your Responsibilities
Pipeline Development & Qualification
Identify and qualify leads across diverse segments, including individual developers, university research labs, robotics startups, and tech enterprises.
Engage in outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and in-person networking to create qualified opportunities.
Ensure accurate tracking of pipeline data and activities within the CRM.
Achieve monthly and quarterly objectives for scheduled meetings and generated qualified opportunities.
Field Engagement & Community Relations
Represent Dexmate at robotics conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
Manage trade show booths, perform live demonstrations, and generate leads from event participants.
Visit university robotics labs and research centers to cultivate relationships with faculty and PhD students.
Organize and lead technical workshops, office hours, or demo days for the robotics community.
Build and maintain relationships within the physical AI ecosystem.
Technical Engagement
Conduct initial discovery calls to understand prospects' technical needs and use cases.
Deliver engaging product demonstrations highlighting our robot's manipulation capabilities.
Address technical inquiries about our platform, including hardware specifications, APIs, and integration possibilities.
Collect feedback from prospects to guide product development and positioning.
Generate technical content (demo videos, use case documentation) to bolster sales initiatives.
Market Intelligence
Stay updated on trends in physical AI, robot learning, and manipulation technologies.
