High School Diploma required; post-secondary education preferred. 2+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Experience with produce handling is essential. Knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping and receiving. Certification to operate motorized equipment is required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Flexibility to work various shifts as required. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 49 pounds).

About the Team

Factor, part of HelloFresh, delivers healthy, ready-to-heat meals. As we expand in Calgary, the team is looking for a full-time Warehouse Supervisor to help shape and oversee warehouse operations. This role reports to the Site Director and plays a key part in managing inbound and outbound logistics, supporting our commitment to quality and efficiency as the business grows.

What You Will Do

  • Work with the Associate Director of Production to build and lead a warehouse team handling receiving, shipping, distribution, and logistics.
  • Partner with operations management to plan and delegate daily tasks for production associates, ensuring work is completed on time and standards are met.
  • Help develop and improve operational systems, including:
    • Setting up efficient material flow processes (such as FIFO and allergen segregation).
    • Maintaining 6S organization in all warehouse areas.
    • Establishing scalable inventory systems and conducting regular cycle counts.
    • Managing and updating electronic data systems.
  • Keep inventory and storage areas organized for maximum efficiency.
  • Document shipments and inventory transactions accurately and on schedule.
  • Coordinate inventory transfers with other departments.
  • Optimize floor space and storage layouts based on best practices.
  • Recommend ways to improve warehouse operations.
  • Carry out monthly physical inventory counts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Take on other related tasks as assigned.

Who We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma required; post-secondary education is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume receiving or food service environment.
  • Background in produce handling is required.
  • Previous work in warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving is essential.
  • Valid license to operate motorized hand trucks, forklifts, reach trucks, or stackers.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
  • Able to lift up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
