We are in search of a Senior Benefits Analyst to become a vital part of our People and Culture team at Lightspeed. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Global Benefits, you will be instrumental in the design, implementation, and management of our benefits and retirement programs across Canada and the U. S. Your expertise will support our business growth by ensuring our benefits programs are in harmony with our Total Rewards strategy, fostering a thriving environment for all Lightspeeders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and oversee group benefits, retirement savings, and perks programs that align with Lightspeed’s global benefits vision.
- Lead the annual benefits renewal process and facilitate the open enrollment for employees.
- Manage vendor selection and oversight for benefits and retirement plans, ensuring they meet performance and service standards.
- Enhance the administration of leave of absence programs, including short- and long-term disability, parental leave, and other types of leaves across Canada and the U. S.
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics to assess program effectiveness and identify trends.
- Collaborate with global brokers to evaluate market trends and ensure program alignment with the company’s global strategy.
- Work closely with HRIS, payroll, business partners, and other stakeholders to identify system requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize data flow and accessibility.
- Assist employees and HR teams with escalated issues, providing resolutions for complex situations.
