Role Overview: Account Manager
Based in Los Angeles, the Account Manager builds new business relationships and supports existing clients. This position blends business development with client management, working closely with both prospects and current partners.
What You Will Do
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities using online research, trade shows, referrals, and professional directories.
- Secure new business through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Grow relationships with current clients, collaborating with senior leaders to expand services and identify upsell opportunities.
- Find creative solutions to business development challenges and help refine strategies.
- Negotiate project rates and timelines with both new and existing clients.
- Educate clients on the translation process, pricing, turnaround times, and how TransPerfect compares with competitors.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure projects are managed with attention to detail and quality.
- Follow up regularly with clients to confirm satisfaction with services and overall experience.
- Stay current on the industries TransPerfect serves, key players, and relevant news.
- Support special projects and handle additional duties as needed.
