We are seeking a Staff Scientist in Quantum Applications to lead technical initiatives and execute complex quantum application projects. This role involves developing next-generation quantum algorithms and applications on IonQ's trapped-ion quantum computers, playing a pivotal role in our mission to convert quantum computing innovations into tangible scientific and commercial outcomes. You will become a subject matter expert in quantum algorithms, collaborating with internal teams, customers, and partners to drive impactful applications, while also supporting a groundbreaking initiative with the University of Chicago.
