Qualifications

A strong passion for supporting children with autism. Exhibit patience, compassion, and teamwork skills. Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications, along with a recent Tuberculosis test. Pass a pre-employment background check. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification upon successful onboarding.

In this rewarding role, you will work closely with children, implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Utilizing evidence-based techniques, you will teach essential skills such as communication, social interactions, and daily living activities while effectively minimizing challenging behaviors. To succeed in this position, you will need to exhibit patience, compassion, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. You should be comfortable standing, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds as part of your daily responsibilities.
